Difference in density, temperature and velocity of the two rivers contribute to form this phenomenon. Cruise on the Amazon river and proceed to Lake Janaury to see Victoria Regia water lillies. Lunch is served in a floating restaurant. After lunch, a ride in canoes through the natural channels. A stop is made for fishing, to try to catch some of the local fish such as Piranha, Tucunare’, Dourado, Tambaqui and more. When night falls, depart to nearby lagoons or narrow creeks to search for night animals and to see how the local guides catch alligators with their bare hands! The reptiles are usually spotted by a torchlight and their eyes shine like rubies in the light.
