Day 1 :
Fly to Mauritius on AIR MAURITIUS. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel resort.
Day 2 :
The entire day is for you to rest and enjoy the various facilities of your world-class resort.
The sun, sea and sand are at your disposal! Engage in fun water sports and leisure activities using Pedal boats and a Canoe glass bottom boat. You may also enjoy windsurfing, diving or access the fitness centre. Today is a day to relax and play as you please!
Day 3 :
Full-day tour visiting touristic and cultural spots of Mauritius.
Curepipe is a heaven for those who are shopaholics where one can find a variety of products. Enjoy the Panoramic view from the Troux aux Cerfs which is already an extinct volcano. Visit Grand Bassin that serves as a pilgrimage spot for Hindus wherein special religious occasions are held. The tour will also bring you to Black River Gorges, a national park that will make you in one with nature. Chamarel, the seven-colored earth, is something you should not miss as you will be amazed by the sand bearing different colors, really one-of-a-kind!
Day 4 :
Take your morning flight from Mauritius to Johannesburg. Afternoon city tour.
Highlights of the tour: The historical buildings of downtown Johannesburg passing Hillbrow and the landmark Post Office tower en route; the 'Top of Africa' at the Carlton Centre; the Brixton Tower; the affluent suburb of Houghton, the Supreme Court, 'Museum Africa' (time permitting), the Nelson Mandela Bridge in Newtown and a fully guided tour of Constitution Hill - home of South Africa's new Constitutional Court and site of Johannesburg's Old Fort Prison.
Day 5 :
Embark on a full-day fun tour of Pilanesberg Game Reserve for a safari ride and Sun City.
Highlights of this tour: A game drive in the 'Big Five' Pilanesberg Nature Reserve which is also abundant in various plains game and birds, guided tour of the famous Sun City complex including the Palace of the Lost City, Valley of the Waves and Waterworld (entrance fee not included). While at Sun City, an opportunity exists to join a unique Elephant Interaction safari (not included) where you have time to touch, feed and photograph these 'gentle giants'.
Day 6 :
Full-day cultural tour to get to know South Africa’s past.
Known informally as 'the Jacaranda City', highlights of this tour include: the historical Voortrekker Monument, Church Square, the City Hall State Theatre/ Opera House, the Union Buildings and the President's office. Proceed to Lesedi Cultural Village. Included is a multi-lingual, audio-visual orientation depicting the history of South Africa; guided tour through traditional homesteads of Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Sotho villages, song and dance performances in the auditorium and a traditional African dinner.
Day 7 :
Flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 8 :
Take a City tour and a Table Mountain Tour.
Highlights include: visit up Table Mountain on the cableway where the varying flora and fauna will be explained (the cableway ticket is not included as the mountain visit is weather permitting); Malay Quarter tour; the Castle of Good Hope; Milnerton for a spectacular view of Table Mountain and the city; Cape Town Diamond Works.
Day 9 :
Full-day Cape Point tour.
Highlights of the tour: Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens; Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve; the funicular (optional extra) to reach the hillcrest at Cape of Good Hope; the penguin colony at Boulders Beach; Chapman's Peak (subject to the road being open); Hout Bay stop at the harbour; Sea Point; city of Cape Town drive..
Day 10 :
Flight departure from Capetown to your homeland or your next destination.

Breakfast at the resort. L’Otentik – Dolswim and Casela World of Adventures
Meet and swim with the Dolphins in their natural environment. After an encounter with dolphins in their natural habitat on the west coast, we head off to Casela World of Adventures – a 10 hectare park with 1,500 birds, giant tortoises, monkeys and safari, where you will discover various species of animals. Lunch is with a Mauritian family to discover local food and cultures. Last stop is the flea market of Quatre Bornes for Shopping for clothing, accessories and handicrafts at attractive prices.
Dinner at the resort.

Make the most of your time in Mauritius with this sightseeing experience. The journey starts with the visit to Curepipe: 2nd largest city of the island centrally situated and also known as “La Ville Lumiere” since it was the first town in the island to run on electricity. Climb to the upper plateau for a stunning panoramic view of the island from the top of Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant volcano. As we drive southwards to Chamarel for a visit and lunch stop at a rum distillery, you will enjoy the breathtaking landscape adorning the sacred lake of Grand Bassin and the Black River Gorges National Park. In the afternoon, you will discover the natural treasures of Chamarel, including the unusual geological phenomenon of the Seven-Colored Earth and a spectacular waterfall.
Dinner at the resort.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kreola’s Punch Tour, and discover the highlights of the capital city of Port Louis. Bursting with life, the city blends the island's past and present. It is also a rainbow of cultures, religions and traditions reflected in the island lifestyle. End the tour at the Caudan Waterfront complex. The Caudan's craft market, spread across two levels, is the perfect place for a quick shopping for hand-made souvenirs. Immediate transfer to the airport for flight to Antananarivo. 1505H Arrival in Antananarivo by MK 288 from Mauritius. Meet at the airport and transfer to Louvre hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 (Friday): (B,D)
Breakfast. Drive to Andasibe (145 km) with visit on the way to Mr Peyrieras’ insect and reptile farm in Marozevo. Nocturnal visit. Dinner and overnight at Vakona Forest Lodge.
Andasibe is situated on National Road 2, at around 3 hours drive from the capital city, Antananarivo towards the Eastern coast of the Island. On your way there, a visit to the private reserve of Peyrieras will give you a foretaste of its generous nature since chameleons, geckos, frogs, butterflies, crocodiles, bats, lemurs and other exotic species cohabit with one another harmoniously.
Day 5 (Saturday): (B,D)
Breakfast. Morning visit to Andasibe National Park. Afternoon visit to Vakona Private Reserve. Dinner and overnight at Vakona Forest Lodge.
Vakona private reserve leads you around a lake where 40 crocodiles live freely. You will meet Kovu and Nala, two fosa (endemic carnivores of Madagascar, predators of lemurs), admire parrots, ostriches and aquatic birds, shiver at the sight of boas, and scratch the neck of tortoises. Situated in the middle of the primary forest, the reserve sometimes has the privilege of being frequented by groups of wild lemurs, flown over by parrots, and visited by a variety of birds that nest here.
Day 6 (Sunday): (B,D)
Breakfast. Morning drive back to Antananarivo. Afternoon visit to the King and Queen’s former palace in Ambohimanga. Dinner and overnight at Louvre hotel.
The Rova of Ambohimanga was the palace of the great king ‘Andrianampoinimerina’ (The Lord in the heart of Imerina) who managed to unite the people of the twelve sacred hills of Merina. It is a place that used to be sacred and it has kept, until now, its fortifications, its history on the origins of the royal family of Merina as well as its mysteries. It is situated around one hour drive from Antananarivo. The Rova Ambohimanga Tour will disclose the rural facet of the capital city to you through the rice fields, the active holiday resorts, the valleys and the mountains which one can climb to reach the door of the palace.
Day 7 (Monday): (B,D)
Breakfast. Morning city sightseeing and visit to a handcraft market. Transfer to the airport.
